Falls Creek Kangaroo Hoppet 2020.
“Do It Your Way” …what an initiative!
Something great to focus on and look forward to while working through the devastation of the lost Summer and Winter seasons at Falls Creek.
Completed a Tour de France ride yesterday after a snow-storm-walk with Gigi
Here is the short story:
So which event to enter? Thought the bike ride would be nice. (now needs to be on the trainer as the road conditions are tad snowed over due to on-going storm)
What distance? 42km surely!
Thought might challenge myself ….Wondered what the equivalent cycle distance might be to match 42km XC? A little research… maybe 126km will do it!
Are you mad? Got to give it a crack!
When? The traditional 4th Saturday of August of course.
OK. Where will you ride? How about embracing the international feel…Owed to the Tour de France? Yes, cycling locally in Falls Creek, riding globally in a stage of the Tour (got to love the virtual reality)
Conclusion: BIG Tick! First Kangaroo Hoppet. “My way”. Cycling 126km on a stage of the Tour de France!
