MY BABY HAD A BABY! 🥹🥲🥰🫶✨️🙏🎁

And just like that… my little Princess Reggie became a Mumma 🥹❤️

I sat beside her in the paddock maternity suite behind the stockyards, giving her head pats and belly rubs, holding her lil cloven hooved hand 😂 and cheered her on from beginning to end as she delivered her precious little weeun. 🐑🤍

My little Orphaned RegReg who once needed all my love and nurturing and who was watched over and protected by Old Grey SunnyDawg (now since crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge 🐾) is now a Mummy.

To witness this beautiful full-circle moment of life in it's entirety with my RegReg is something I will treasure forever. 🥹❤️

Some bonds are simply beyond words… and ours is one of them.

My heart is full, my eyes are leaky 🥹 and this proud Farm Grand-maaaa is feeling very, very blessed. 🥲🥰🙏

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and genuinely caring person to join our little Hamlet Downs team as our Farmstay Suites Housekeeper. 🏡🐑
This is a part-time position of approximately 12–15 hours per week, with additional hours available as we head into our busy high season.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, notices the little things and understands that a beautifully clean, fresh and welcoming room is a huge part of a guest’s stay.
🧺 What you’ll be doing:
• Cleaning and preparing guest accommodation between stays
• Making beds and changing linen
• Cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
• Dusting, vacuuming, mopping and general cleaning
• Restocking guest amenities and supplies
• Ensuring guest rooms and general areas are presented beautifully

🙏Who we’re looking for:
Someone who is reliable, honest, energetic and takes pride in what they do.
You’ll need to be comfortable working independently, have a good eye for detail and be happy working in a beautiful but rural environment.
Hospitality or housekeeping experience is preferred, but the right attitude and work ethic are just as important to us.
You’ll be joining a hands-on family business where every little detail matters — and where we genuinely care about our guests and the experience we provide.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR A FARMSTAY HOUSEKEEPER 🌿

Hamlet Downs Country Accom | Fentonbury, Tasmania
We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking and genuinely caring person to join our little Hamlet Downs team as our Farmstay Suites Housekeeper. 🏡🐑

Our final Long Table Lunch 5-Course Degustation — Are You Game Series II for 2026 was one very special Saturday at Hamlet Downs this weekend; and an absolutely perfect 'sunny sunshiney' Winters Day 🌞 👌

20 guests. 6 courses. Matched wines. Plenty of incredible Tasmanian produce, a very busy kitchen, a few moments of controlled chaos at the pass… and lots of laughter, joy and happiness around the table. ❤️

From the kitchen, it was one of those days where everything came together — The food, the timing, the people and the atmosphere.

And seeing every plate come back empty… well, that's the best reward you can ask for. 🥰

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for this LTL series and trusted us to feed you, spoil you and share a little piece of Hamlet Downs.

And to Maître De Steve, keeping everything running out front while I in the kitchen, did my thing and MVP Danni who was a master Chef Assist and FOH assist **We make a pretty good team considering it was our first time working together! 💪

The heart is very full 💓 ... and the body a bit sore 🤣😂

From humble beginnings in 2010 on the Sunshine Coast; when we started this business to bring 'Burmese Fare' to the wider Australian public, fast forward to 2026 Melbourne Royal Awards

We're very chuffed indeed at the Tasmanian BIYB HQ ; as this has been our first time entering the Melbourne Food Awards.

We entered 3 products from our stable of traditional Burmese chilli condiments and received 3 honours in return which makes our hearts sing to know our products are enjoyed Australia wide and internationally.

Also as country farm-stay hosts at Hamlet Downs Country Accom, we are lucky enough to share our produce with people from all around the world who stay with us and get to enjoy our produce whilst feasting on our ala carte dining options, specifically our Burmese Feast.
