🌿 Can you guess where this is? 🌿
If you’ve ever wandered along the Tomaree Coastal Walk, you might just recognise this magic little boardwalk! 😍 From Shoal Bay to Fingal Bay, this stunning section of the track winds through lush, green fauna, a slice of pure serenity tucked away in the bush.
This is one of our favourite walks — we usually start at Fingal Bay Surf Club, head towards Shoal Bay, then take a right onto the Tomaree Coastal Walk, winding our way through this peaceful pocket of paradise before popping out at the beach. 🥾🌊
It’s quiet, leafy, and oh-so-refreshing... just the way we like it 💚

🌅 Afternoon Delights at Fingal Bay 🌊
There’s something magical about Fingal Bay in the late afternoon light — golden sand, gentle waves, and that peaceful autumn glow that wraps around you like a big hug.
Locals know this is the best time to wander down for a dip, play a bit of beach cricket, or just sit and soak it all in. It’s calm, quiet, and absolutely stunning.

We recently took time out to visit one of our local favourites for lunch — and wow, Longboat Café at Fingal Bay absolutely delivered! 🍔☀️
Just a stone’s throw from the beach and the park, this cosy little spot served up one seriously satisfying burger and chips combo (mine was a mushroom veggie stack; Andrew's was wagyu). Fresh, stacked, and full of flavour — exactly what we needed!
And it's also pet friendly, so furry mates can tag along too. 🐾💕

Tucked away in beautiful Port Stephens, Soldiers Point is another hidden gem we keep coming back to 🌿⛵ With calm, kid-friendly beaches perfect for little ones to splash and play, it's a spot the whole family can enjoy.

The marina is accessible and welcoming, and right by the water you'll find Seasalt, an absolute favourite of ours. Think fresh food (brekky and lunch), breezy views, great coffee, wonderful staff—and yes, it’s pet-friendly too 🐶☕

And when the sun starts to dip? You’re in for a real treat—Soldiers Point faces west, so the sunsets here are nothing short of magical. Golden skies, calm waters, and a cocktail in hand at The Deck or Restaurant 2317 overlooking the marina.… it’s what coastal dreams are made of 🍹🌅

Spur of the moment dinner? Couldn’t have planned it better! 🍕✨
A quick choice led to the perfect evening—wood-fired pizza at Nigronis in Nelson Bay, paired with a crisp glass of wine. The weather couldn’t have been better, so we took a sunset stroll through town, topped off with a sweet treat from Neros. Loved seeing so many people out and about, also enjoying themselves! 🍷
Sometimes, the best nights are the unplanned ones! Where’s your go-to spot for a relaxed night out?

Looking for a stunning spot to stretch your legs (and your pup’s)? Corlette Point is a top pick! 🐶✨ With a dog-friendly (on-lead) park, a playground for the little ones, and breathtaking bay views, it’s the perfect place for a relaxed stroll.

🚶‍♂️ Wander along the marina, take in the headlands, and head out onto the breakwater for even more expansive views.
☕ Need a caffeine fix? Swing by Coffee Maker on the marina for a delicious brew, or a stay for breakfast or lunch.
🌊 Fancy a swim? Corlette Beach is a bayside beach delight – just a heads-up, it's for humans only! 😉
