Thanks and love to all our guests, regulars and friends of Brooklyn over the years. Thank you all for making it such a wonderful place with your visits and your stories. It was a perfect place to stay. Beautiful, friendly, quiet, interesting, quirky and personal, within walking distance of central Melbourne. The atmosphere was always relaxed and congenial. We had a garden to sit in and birds to li

sten to. Fitzroy, however lives on and you'll find a great mix of people independent galleries, bars, restaurants and specialist shops. Filmmaker, designer and public artist, Maggie Fooke, made Brooklyn a place to stay for people…artists, makers and lovers of the arts, of literature, painting, music, sculpture, philosophy, craft, film, animation - all were warmly welcomed.
