I wish to announce that due to government and insurance costs with bed & breakfast short term accomodation that have had no chioce but to close down Blue Wren Haven Tasmania .

Would like to introduce another resident at Blue Wren Haven is Boris the little forest bat.
They keep the spiders at bay here in the lodge and are completely harmless like little flying mouse.

Happy new year and wishing everyone a safe and healthy one.
Last night i had the pleasure of hosting a new year eve party and 60th birthday for a family travelling from the mainland last night.
I had Helen Yang cater for them at the lodge cooking up a amazing range of Burmese/Chinese cuisine. Helen owns & operates EdithCreek shop and you can check out Helen’s Shop Edith Creek .
Blue Wren Haven can also now offer guests meals & accomodation and cater for small group functions.

Blue Wren Haven is now solar powered and since installed have generated over 630kw of power and a CO2 reduction of 628kg.
Solar system able to generate more than maximum demand of lodge meaning feeding more solar generated power into grid than power needs of the lodge.
Just another eco friendly feature of Blue Wren Haven.
