This is such a surprise for everyone locally. Staff from the Amaroo -whale watching cruises- say she is a female, she is not stressed and may possibily be looking for safe waters so she can calve, which I find quite an exciting prospect

That’s correct there’s a whale in Wallis Lake. It’s a southern Right Whale probably15 meters long. It’s going from the bridge up the lake to the oyster leases and then back to the bridge seems to be looking for a way out of the lake.

On 22nd June once again I will lose my power from approx 9am to 2.30pm as they are going to replace the lampost outside the motel. I will have power late afternoon/evening but anyone requiring bookings will need to ring me, only on my mobile 0416 558243. (The rooms are blocked out on the internet.)I can advise on how the work is going, or done!!!

The motel will not be open on Sunday 6th June due to Essential Energy carrying out work and I will have no electricity for most of the day.

On Thursday 4th Feb my reception area only will be closed while the new flooring goes down. Check in will take a little longer and I apologise for the inconvenience.
