Between Indian Head and Waddy Point - Seasonal Fishing Closure

"Closed seasons prevent people fishing for certain species at certain times of the year, to protect those species at vulnerable times in their life cycle, such as during spawning seasons. You should not target those fish during a closed season."

As of 1st August 2026 our barges will be operating the following hours: first barge departing Inskip at 6am. The last barge departs K'gari 5pm. To catch last barge please arrive a minimum of 15 minutes prior to departure time.
