International Day for Biological Diversity May 22nd 2022

Today is celebrated under the slogan: “Building a shared future for all life”. Why not start to take action yourself today with one of the following ideas:

• Clean up an area around you – a park, a beach or forest and remove all plastic and waste so it cannot be eaten by animals
• Restore an abandoned or poorly maintained area with planting native trees or plants – around your home, a school or your work place
• Help an animal if you see it in distress, call your nearest animal shelter and support them with a donation
• Share with someone less fortunate than you in your own community
• Help someone stop smoking by making yourself available to support your friend in their wish to improve his or her health
• Save energy by turning off lights and appliances when you don’t need them, equip your office/homeoffice with renewable energy sources

The Interhome Group has decided to give its Local Service Offices in Europe a new "Look & Feel".

The LSO in St. Moritz 🇨🇭 is the first office in the entire portfolio, which has been rebuilt in the new design since mid-December.
The colours were chosen carefully, the make-up looks modern, friendly and fresh. Employees benefit from new, favorable working conditions, especially improved acoustics and appealing lighting.

Gradually, all other Local Service Offices will be rebuilt in the new design. Followed by LSO Ste Maxime 🇫🇷 and LSO Jávea 🇪🇸. Various more are in the planning.

Many thanks to our team in St. Moritz, which despite their high work load, have volunteered themselves as a test office for this redesign 🙂!

The Interhome Group contributes to the bee conservation programme of Beesark. For each Interhome booking, 2.5 m2 of flowering fields for bees are planted in Austria.

Albert Einstein already emphasized the importance of bees: “If the bee disappeared off the face of the Earth, man would only have four years left to live. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man.”
