Freshwater Creek Farm B&B A great get away close to Torquay on a farm that teaches you the essence of an organic environment . You have a self contained converted old truck.

Accommodation in in a self contained room built on the back of an old 1950`s farm truck. Our vision is too educate people about biodynamic gardening and farming. How to care for the land in a balanced way which supports and protects native fauna and flora. How to live simply, eat organically whilst being mindful of energy used, produced and wasted.

One of the wonderful workers who have planted over 10000 indigenous trees and shrubs this season at 35 properties in the surfcoaat, including our property, the Steiner school, farmers place and others. This is the Bush to Beach Bio-link Project which has included very generous state funding! This revegetation is ongoing and we have a local group 'Friends of Freshwater Creek' .If you would like to be on our list of volunteers at planting time then let me know and I will add you to my contact list. This provision of habitat, protecting what we have and replacing some of what has been removed by our pioneers is essential for survival of wildlife and ultimately us !

Life on the farm changes with the seasons. Magnificent Autumn rain motivates biodynamic farmers to stir and spray 500 prep onto the pasture, around the fruit trees and vegetable garden. The worms and microbes come to life in the soils, colours change in the environment, the animals watch on!
