This Beergustation showcases six of Gage Roads' flagship beers, with Justin sharing the stories, brewing techniques and flavour profiles behind each one. Each beer is perfectly paired with a specially curated menu by our Head Chef, for a truly memorable food and beer experience.

Introducing Under a Yanget Sky ✨

For the very first time, we're taking The Gerald out to Yanget , and it's set to be a night unlike anything Geraldton has seen before.

Picture rolling paddocks, a homestead full of history, and the sun setting over the land as you sip drinks in hand, champagne, oysters, and a lineup from WA favourite Gage Roads and Geraldton's own 30 Knots. Then settle in for dinner, a refined menu of shared plates crafted by The Gerald's Head Chef Rodi Aasma, putting Yanget's own lamb and beef centre stage alongside the very best local produce the region has to offer.

This is more than a dinner, it's an experience. Exceptional food, great company, and one of the most beautiful backdrops you'll find anywhere in the Midwest.

Return transport to and from Geraldton is included, so all you have to do is show up.

Meet Rodi, the man behind every dish at The Gerald 👨‍🍳

Two bars, a full conference centre, back to back events... Rodi runs all of our kitchens without breaking a sweat. He's been our Head Chef since 2023, always smiling, always up for the challenge.

He's from Hamburg (we call him "handsome from Hamburg", he's yet to deny it), cooking since 2019, and he says what keeps him at The Gerald is the people around him and the room to be creative with his food.

His favourite thing to eat? "The dish I don't cook myself."

Emily Joyce, sommelier extraordinaire, is back at our very own Bob's Boutique Bar for another night of wine tasting, education and laughs. Wineducation 13 explores the influence of European winemaking traditions on Australian and New Zealand wines, with each tasting perfectly paired with a curated amuse-bouche by our Head Chef.

It was great to attend the Corporate Travel Show at Pan Pacific Perth yesterday.
