Did you know our carriage was once a hospital on wheels?

It was converted from a sleeping car into a fully equipped hospital car, designed to care for anyone injured in a train derailment or accident along the Avon Valley line. It could carry 16 patients on stretchers and was even coupled to a flat wagon with a helipad for emergencies!

Now it’s getting a very different kind of TLC as it’s converted into a unique Airbnb stay at Wainui Fields.
