Excited to share that I’ve been selected as one of 15 founders pitching at the Pitch Showcase on Thursday 28 May 🚀

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been part of the Founder Pitch Capability Program with Smart Precinct NQ and Aaron Birkby from Tribe Global Ventures - refining my pitch, sharpening my message and preparing to share a new project Wildlife Surrounds is building for the North Queensland community.

The showcase is about far more than pitching. It’s about connection, feedback, ideas and opportunities - bringing together founders, industry, investors, government, research and the wider business community to support innovation across our region.

I’d love to see some familiar faces in the room on the night 👏

💧𝗧𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 - 𝗚𝗶𝗿𝘂💧

From 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟭𝟯 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹, essential maintenance works at the Cungulla Treatment Plant will temporarily reduce water treatment capacity.

As a result, temporary Level 1 water restrictions will apply to the Giru area for approximately two weeks.

These restrictions are necessary to help maintain a reliable water supply during the works.

𝗪𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝘀
Residents are asked to minimise watering to up to three days per week.
🔹 No watering on Mondays.
🔹 Odd numbered street addresses may water on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday.
🔹 Even numbered street addresses may water on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽:
• Limit watering to essential needs only.
• On your designated days, water early in the morning or late afternoon to reduce evaporation.
• Check taps, hoses and toilets for leaks.
• Use a broom instead of a hose to clean driveways and footpaths.
• Delay washing cars or filling pools until after the restriction period if possible.
