This old hat has seen its fair share of adventures today.

From bush tracks and lookout points to bird hides and winding country roads, it's spent the day exploring everything the Capertee Valley has to offer. Now, with the sun streaming through the homestead windows, it's taking a well-earned rest.

At Myalla, the days can be as active or as relaxed as you choose. Spend your mornings bushwalking, birdwatching and discovering the beauty of the valley, then return to the comfort of the homestead to put your feet up and soak in the peace and quiet.

The perfect end to a day well spent. šŸ¤ ā˜€ļø

Many guests may not realise that the beautiful sculptures throughout the Myalla homestead aren’t simply decorations — they’re original works created by your host, Leasha Craig.

We’re incredibly proud to share that Leasha recently won the Sculpture Prize at the Hunters Hill Art Exhibition for her piece ā€˜We All Have Wings’.

Creativity has always been woven into the fabric of Myalla, and Leasha’s artwork is just one of the many personal touches that make a stay here so unique. As you wander through the homestead, you’ll find her sculptures quietly telling their own stories.

Congratulations, Leasha — a well-deserved recognition of your talent and passion ā¤ļø

That in-between moment…

When the air turns crisp,
the light turns golden,
and the bed looks just a little too inviting to leave.

There’s something about early mornings in the valley that makes you slow down, breathe a little deeper and remember not everything has to be rushed.

At Myalla, this is the kind of scenery your morning coffee comes with.

Set in the heart of Capertee Valley, Myalla Farm Stay is more than just a place to stay - it’s a gateway to one of the most scenic landscapes in New South Wales.

Known as a haven for birdwatchers, the valley is home to over 200 species, including some of Australia’s rarest. Whether you’re an experienced birdwatcher or simply enjoy a quiet morning with a coffee in hand, there’s always something to spot.

Spend your days exploring walking tracks, taking in the valley views, or venturing out to sample local food and wine, fresh from farm to table.

For those who prefer a slower pace, it’s just as easy to stay close. Wander the property, find a quiet spot in the garden, or settle in as the landscape shifts from golden afternoons to star-filled nights.

However you choose to spend your time, Myalla places you right in the middle of it all - without ever feeling like it.
