We’d like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a happy new year. Thanks to all those that stayed with us, we hope to see you again soon. 2022 was a very busy year for us so we’re closed now for a short period to have a break and will re-open early 2023.

We’ve finally had our first taste of winter over the last couple of days, and this week is shaping up to be quite cool indeed. Our winter weekend spots are fast filling up, so if you want to experience our beautiful crisp days, and then our cold, frosty nights (staying warm by the fire of course), book soon!

We’re well and truly back into the swing of it here. Autumn is finally starting to show, nights are getting cooler and bookings are starting to fill up for the next couple of months (so get in soon if you want to visit)!

One of the main comments people mention when staying with us is just how much birdlife is on our property and how much they just love seeing and listening to it. We’ve counted over 20 different types of birds that love spending their mornings and afternoons with us. From various types of parrots (Rosellas, Corellas, Yellow tailed blacks, Kings, etc), thornbills, wrens and willie wagtails, magpies, kookaburras, kingfishers and even a Nankeen Kestrel that pops in from time to time (one of the smallest falcons and a raptor native to Australia which certainly sends the little birds ducking for cover). All these photos are taken on our property, most from our deck (while enjoying a local wine 😜).

We’d like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and a great new year. Special thanks to all those that visited and stayed with us this year, it was great to have welcomed you to our place and we do hope to see you again in 2022.
We’re closed now for a short time - a chance for us to take a break and make the place even more welcoming. We've got plans for upgrading our website over this time, so we’ll certainly let everyone know when that is launched!

We've done some driveway and drainage improvements just in time for spring and summer. We've still got the odd weekend free through to November, so pop on our website to book your weekend away now (or before you know it Christmas will be here!)

We’ve recently made a few changes to our guest areas to increase the comfort of those who stay with us even further. We’ve added a lounge area, complete with big screen smart TV, a selection of DVDs and board games. We’ve also removed the breakfast bars/stools and put in a dining table/chairs. Whilst this now means that we can only have a couple book and stay, we’ve felt that this change has made the space just perfect. And having been run off our feet from visitors enjoying this spectacular region in the last few weeks, the feedback we’ve received so far on the new look has been exceptional.

We’re having some spectacular autumn weather up here on the Granite Belt. Some light frosty mornings with awesome sunrises. We do still have some weekends in June, July and August available if you’re wanting a winter retreat. Stay with us and we promise that you’ll always have a warm fire to come home to after a day of exploring (and maybe to sample those wine purchases...)!

Well our first morning for 2021 that dipped into the negatives, even if it only got to -0.5deg. Bit fresh outside with 1.8 at the moment with some light frost but otherwise a gorgeous morning.

1 degree predicted tonight. We really love this time of year. Log fires, red wine, beautiful sunsets! We still have weekends available through May and into winter if you’re wanting to visit this amazing region!
