A treasured glimpse into Narraweema's historical past. Pictured here with nurses and most likely Matron Kit McRae, Narraweema was transformed from a private home to serve the Gloucester community as a private hospital from 1934 until the opening of the Gloucester Soldiers Memorial Hospital in the second half of the 1950s.

We were delighted to open the doors of Narraweema Guesthouse in 2024 and share this very special historical home with our guests enjoying a luxury stay with us.

We are a little bit in love with the fireplace in our King Suite. There are 6 original fireplaces throughout the wider Narraweema property and the view of the brick chimneys stretching toward the sky which we appreciate whenever we wander through the orchard in the backyard is definitely one of our favourites!

We've added a wood combustion fire to our 2-bed cottage, which will be available for rent sometime in 2025 & will bump the fireplace count up to 7 & make for a gorgeous cozy addition to our newest guest space.

With the weather warming up and spring in full bloom, it's a fabulous time to be out and about exploring... complimentar...
