Here’s just a few things we’ve quickly learned are major horror movies for us as short stay hosts 😅
1. I know people mean well, and may just *see* the place as 4 star rather than 5 star (like a hotel rating) but the reviews matter to our business, our brand and our reputation. One 4 star review has the ability to drop our rating significantly enough that we can lose certain statuses in Airbnb which help our visibility. If you loved your stay and the experience, please leave a 5 star review - it truly helps more than you know!!
2. Double check the check-out info that we send you before you check out - we are not a hotel and by not returning the key to the designated key location, means the next guest won’t be able to pick up the key for their stay. We’ve had to race out a few times with a spare, to let the guest into the room and retrieve their key 🥴
3. Isn’t setting up WiFi just the bane of anyone’s existence?? 🤣
4. Snoop Dog anyone? Yes, this has happened 😅😅 don’t do this… we can smell smoke even if it isn’t detected during your stay and you will have to pay a fee for smoking inside 👎🏼
5. All of our stays are equipped with a welcome book that have all these details you need to work everything… sometimes I do wonder if people are just too lazy to read and would rather us be available at their beck and call for every little question they have 😬
Regardless, for the most part we love our guests and truly appreciate all the positive comments and 5 star ⭐️ reviews!!
