Gumnut Getaway, is owned and operated by husband and wife team, professional artists, David and Mary. Gumnut Getaway is a lovely, newly built bed and breakfast accommodation. The accommodation is attached to the main house but is separated by two art studios and a gallery in between, thus affording valued guests total privacy via independent off-street parking for car and boat and a separate entrance into the accommodation.
Gumnut Getaway offers our guests a comfortable queen-sized bed made up with quality linen, a spare double sofa bed, private bathroom with towels (shower chair available upon request), open plan kitchenette and comfortable lounge/dining room. Gumnut Getaway's ramp is wheelchair accessible and leads up to a secluded intimate courtyard area where guests can enjoy a cuppa, a BBQ, an Al Fresco meal, sunlit breakfasts or sunset contemplations.
The kitchenette offers tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, fridge and toaster. Continental breakfast provisions are available and guests may select from white or wholegrain bread, crumpets or croissants, muesli or porridge, vanilla yoghurt, a variety of spreads, orange juice and a variety of teas and coffee. Gumnut Getaway includes reverse cycle air conditioning for summer comfort and winter coziness.
Gift vouchers are available, either for accommodation by itself or accommodation and exclusive workshops as a combined package. Consider a gift voucher for loved ones or work colleagues. Testimonials available for what is truly a complete holiday experience in beautiful Goolwa.
Guests are welcome to visit Gumnut Getaway’s art gallery during their stay and can also book themselves into one of several exclusive art workshops that are on offer. Bookings are essential and separate workshop costs information is available upon request.

> DSLR Photography - in studio, on location, post production
> Scraper-board etching
All Gumnut Getaway guests are entitled to a free photographic studio portrait as part of their stay.

"Gumnut getaway is a lovely place to stay for a relaxing holiday. There are plenty of activities to do from going out to explore Goolwa/Victor Harbour on your own, or doing one of the fun activities that the Gumnut Getaway offers. I have only been able to stay for a weekend but would definitely love to stay for longer. The owners were lovely, friendly and accommodating and the breakfast choices were delicious with a few options to choose from. I will definitely be back!"
