🦜 Ahoy, playful pirates! The temporary fences are down and our popular playground at Bristow Smith Reserve at Goolwa is now ready for hijinks on the high seas ⛵🛝

Final touches are underway following some maintenance.

Fresh out of the shipyard we have:
🛥️New netting for the old fishing vessel, the 1911 MV Premier
🧗🏽‍♀️New climbing web netting
⚒️ New structural posts and footings
🤸🏽‍♀️ New structural balance beams and rails
🪢 New foot pods, rope handles, and fixtures

Before this major work, we sanded and revarnished the 1911 MV Premier, which was donated for the play space when the playground was built a decade ago.

**Goolwa Beach Retreat: Available 5 Jan - 2 Feb (2025)**

Some of our favourite things about this spot:
🏖 It's a 2-5 minute walk to the beach (depends on if you have kids with you or not 😉)
🦮 It's got an enclosed backyard so it's dog friendly. Plus Goolwa Main Beach nearby is off leash early AM and late PM.
🍽 It's a 3minute walk from the award winning Kuti Shack
🍻It's a 3minute walk from the Goolwa Surf Lifesaving Club
🚴‍♀️It's along the Encounter Bikeway, so you're only a few metres from dedicated cycling tracks all the way to Victor Harbour.
🏄‍♀️ The beach is great for surfing and bodyboarding.
🐚 It's cockle season, so you can wriggle your toes in the water and catch yourself gourmet delights (check Fisheries size limits/rules)
📲We've got free, unlimited WiFi at the house, so you can plug-in and watch your devices when you need downtime (or even work from there if needed).
🌅 The big deck out the back is perfect for sunset BBQs and morning coffees.
😴 It has 2 x queen rooms, and a big bunk room for the kiddos, so works for 2 small families, or one big family.
