Our campground is the perfect location for rest and recreation, a weekend getaway, hiking or bird watching. Why not enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of our facility and perhaps indulge in some bushwalking in the nearby National park. Located on the Darling Downs and situated on the banks of Dalrymple Creek, Goomburra Valley Campground has flat, grassed, shady areas for you to camp in peace. We have powered campsites available, most with a fireplace, we also have a bunkhouse for the less adventurous. Well behaved pets are welcome to come along following our Pet Policy - located on our website

Brad and Teresa pride ourselves on being a family friendly campground with no rowdies or all night parties. Yes, we have rules but these are so everyone can enjoy the same thing... a quiet getaway where the kids can have fun and parents can enjoy the downtime. We offer free wifi at our office, eftpos facilities and we have 20kg bags of wood and bundles of kindling ready to purchase on arrival. Only 2 hours from Brisbane, and an hour from Toowoomba, Goomburra Valley Campground is one of the most picturesque spots for bush camping in Southeast Queensland.

Sometimes campground upgrades look easy, and sometimes they take a few rounds of wrestling with heavy steel and a bobcat.

Spoiler alert: the bobcat won. Who else remembers rumbling over this old grid on the way in?

With Queensland kids officially back at school today, we want to say a huge thank you to every family who chose to spend part of their school holidays with us at Goomburra Getaway. We loved having you and hope plenty of happy memories were made along the way. 🌳
