If you are joining us this weekend, please come along to the 'Eagle' Campsite area where our very special guest Malcolm is putting together:

A Taste Test Gunners Breakfast of Pork and Beans, Fried Damper and 'Special' Coffee at 7.30am.

Smoko of ANZAC Biscuits, Gibber Cakes and Raisin Scones at 10.30am.

There’s something pretty special about gathering together in the crisp morning air, a warm brekkie in hand, and taking a moment to reflect on what ANZAC Day is all about.

Meet Leui – the real boss of Goomburra Getaway

At 14 years old, this retired working dog has well and truly clocked off… and taken up a new full-time role as Chief Manager, Professional Child Supervisor, and Occasional Campsite Inspector.

He’s calm, patient, and has perfected the art of “just plonking down” wherever the action is. Expect a very gentle old soul who just wants pats and snacks.
He’s got a sixth sense for small humans and will adopt them faster than you can say “whose dog is this?”

Now… here’s the fine print.
With age comes wisdom… and apparently, absolutely feral farts...
We’re talking clear-the-campsite, blame-the-kids, check-your-shoes kind of situation. And the worst part? He’ll drop one and just stand there looking proud of himself.

We love him. We apologise in advance. We refuse to take responsibility.

Come for the camping, come back for the feeling… stay for Leui (hold your breath)

Big news — Goomburra Valley Campground is becoming Goomburra Getaway!

Yes, we changed the name!
Our shiny new booking system is live — go book that cheeky weekend away!

Full rebrand launch? We’re working on it. Coordinating all the bits to flip at once has been delightfully chaotic, but we’re getting there.

Existing bookings are safe, signs will catch up, and the new vibe will be rolling out soon.

Thanks for your patience while we tidy up the pixie dust!

Heads up! — Goomburra’s getting a tech glow-up!

We’re midway through rolling out a brand new booking system (and a new website is not too far behind!)

It’s going to make booking your next stay quicker, easier, and a whole lot less mucking around.

If we’re a bit slow, a bit quiet, or look like we’ve been personally victimised by technology — you’re not wrong...

While we’re switching things over, there’s a fair chance:
-We’ll be a bit hard to get hold of
-Messages might be slower than a Monday morning
-We are knee-deep learning the new system

Thanks for sticking with us while we sort it out — the end result is going to make your life (and eventually ours...) a whole lot easier!

Goodbye Summer… you sweaty, stormy, beautiful thing!
This was our first summer as the new owners — our first Christmas rush, our first fully booked weekends, our first time looking around on a busy afternoon and thinking, “Wow… this is ours now...”
To every family who rolled in with a car packed to the roof. To every returning camper who gave us a “you’re doing awesome!”. Thank you.
Thank you for trusting us with your holidays, for cheering us on, for being part of our very first season.
We’ve loved the yarns at the office, the kids who didn’t want to go home, and the “we’ll be back!” as you rolled out the gate.

Righto Toowoomba & Warwick crew — your show holiday escape plan is sorted...

We LOVE a good country show. The woodchop. The cattle rings. The kids blowing their entire savings on showbags before 10am. It’s a rite of passage!

But here’s a cheeky idea… why not make a full weekend of it?

Do the rides. Eat the dagwood dog. Cheer on the local legends.
Then pack up and roll out to Goomburra Valley Campground for the proper wind-down.

Creek swims. Campfires. Starry skies. Kids still running wild — just with more fresh air and less fairy floss.

Turn your show holiday into a mini country escape!
We’ll have the grass ready.

So, as a thank you for your support today, we've got everything in place to restart alpaca feeding tomorrow 🎉

Come on down and say hi to the ever so photogenic Miss Octavia tomorrow and the rest of her wooly friends! They can't wait to see you all 💕 Dan will be down near the pens to give you a hand with feed.
