Josh and Lawson got to work on the new entry sign and the transformation is something else. This is what it looks like when you put your heart into every corner of a place.

Meet Fred. Head of security, chief greeter, and honestly the most reliable staff member we have.

This little guy has decided the office entrance is his domain and we are not complaining. If you pull up to Goomburra and get welcomed by a bird, that's just Fred doing his job.

We recently had the pleasure of hosting John Holland Group’s annual getaway, and what. a. weekend! 🙌

Creekside games, campfires, great food and even better company. We hope you all loved your time at Goomburra as much as we loved having you!

Here are some of the Queensland Fire Department dogs who've already made themselves at home at Goomburra Getaway.

Splashing in the creek, running the grounds, snoozing by the campfire at the end of the day. This place is theirs as much as yours.

Hot shower after a cold creek. Fire pit after a big day outside. Clean amenities, proper camp kitchen.We're not glamping. But we're not roughing it either.
That's kind of the whole point. 🏕️

The kookaburra showed up right on cue. 😄

Honestly, the wildlife at Goomburra doesn't need an invitation they've claimed the place as their own. Kookaburras laughing from the treetops, lorikeets demanding their 4pm feed, kangaroos wandering through the grounds, and if you're quiet enough near the creek at dusk... well, the platypus have their own schedule too.

This is just a regular week out here.

We're a little late to the school holidays recap... but honestly, these faces were worth the wait. 🧡

Muddy kids, creek kayaks, slushies, and tiny ones being carted around by their mates. This is what two weeks at Goomburra looks like, and we wouldn't change a thing.

School's back. The memories aren't going anywhere.

We've started fresh on Instagram!

As many of you know, Goomburra Getaway has entered a new chapter. Unfortunately, we weren't able to recover access to the previous Instagram account, so we've created a brand new home to share everything happening here in the valley.

If you love peaceful weekends, campfires under the stars, creek adventures and time spent in nature, or even to follow along with out renovations, we'd love to have you join us.
