The 4WD Park is close to the Main Range National Park, Goomburra Section and located two hours west of Brisbane and 1 hour south of Toowoomba. Open since April 2004, the Janowen Hills 4WD Park boasts 1,000 acres of beautiful countryside. Mostly comprised of hilly terrain and rocky gullies, the 4WD Park features vast grassy campgrounds along side a flowing creek. The campgrounds are also accessible
by means of 2WD vehicles. Facilities include: septic toilets, hot showers and rubbish bins for clientele use. Janowen Hills 4WD Park has over one hundred 4WD tracks, with four difficulty ratings of: easy, medium, difficult and extreme. The number of passengers for each vehicle is not to exceed the registered seating capacity. All vehicles must be registered and there are no motorbikes are permitted on the Park. All fees are paid at the Office located on the main campground at the 4WD Park. The Office also has a kiosk which stocks a variety of supplies e.g. bread, milk, ice, groceries, camping gear and take away foods.
