light, fresh and airy. When you book Hendersons, the entire home is exclusively yours. It offers excellent value with large front and back yards and one of its standout features — the swimming pool. The location is ideal, positioned along the Tamar Valley in the peaceful village of Gravelly Beach. The home features a spacious living area with four couches, perfect for relaxing together. The dining room is separate and enjoys lovely afternoon sun, comfortably seating eight guests in a bright, sunny space. Nearby is the breakfast bar and a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need within easy reach. The kitchen includes a brand-new oven and electric cooktop, new benchtops, sink and splashback, a dishwasher, a Nespresso coffee machine with pods, and a large fridge and freezer. The front verandah offers a gorgeous outlook across the palm trees and the Tamar River — an ideal spot to enjoy a sunrise and make lasting memories with loved ones. Hendersons has four spacious bedrooms accommodating up to nine guests, with a mix of firm and soft mattresses to suit most preferences. Winter at Hendersons:
Curl up inside with electric blankets, warm heat pumps and cosy living spaces while enjoying peaceful Tamar Valley views. Winter is the perfect time for wine tasting and relaxing nights in. All bedrooms have heating. Bedrooms 1 and 2 have individual heat pumps, while bedrooms 3 and 4 are fitted with panel heaters. All beds have electric blankets, with extra blankets available if needed. The lounge room also has a heat pump to keep the home cosy. Summer at Hendersons:
Make the most of warm Tamar Valley days with a refreshing swim in the private pool, outdoor dining, and relaxing on the verandah overlooking the river. Summer is ideal for wine tasting, boating on the Tamar, exploring nearby wineries and enjoying long evenings watching the sunset across the water. Air conditioning is available in bedrooms 1 and 2, as well as the lounge room. These are reverse-cycle heat pumps — please ensure the correct setting is selected. The house has two bathrooms, both with heat lighting and exhaust fans. Bathroom 1 includes a separate toilet, while bathroom 2 incorporates the laundry. A washing machine and dryer are provided for guest use. The large concrete swimming pool is perfect for a Tasmanian summer. It measures approximately 12m x 4.5m, with depths ranging from 1.6m to 2m. The pool is solar heated only, so water temperature depends on Tasmanian weather conditions. Solar heating operates from October to March, with the warmest swimming conditions typically between December and February. The pool is available year-round, weather permitting. We provide pool noodles, games and equipment for your enjoyment. The pool is saltwater chlorinated, and children must always be supervised. The property is located on the main road in Gravelly Beach, with vehicle access via Hendersons Lane. Secure parking for two cars is available at the rear of the property. Additional parking may be available upon request, subject to designated areas. Hendersons is perfectly positioned on the Tamar Valley Wine Route, offering a scenic drive past numerous cellar doors. Hendersons is approximately a 25-minute drive from the CBD of Launceston & approximately 40 minutes from the Launceston Airport. A short walk down the main road is a family-friendly park, boat ramp, basketball court and skate park - you'll be sure to have some fun. Perfect for kids to play on the equipment, or if you're a boating fan, Gravelly Beach is great for skiing and other fun activities. There are two cafes, Rivergrass & Paperbark, just a short walk down the road from Hendersons. A General Store/Post Office and Homewares/Giftware Store "My Tasmanian Home". It's best to head directly to their social media pages to check their opening times. Exeter is around a 5-minute drive from our property. It has two IGA grocery stores, a BWS/Pub, Butcher, Café, Wine Centre, Takeaway, Information Centre, Fuel Stations, Pharmacy, clothes store and more. Legana is approximately a 12-minute drive. It has a large Shopping Complex with Woolworths, BWS, KFC, Banjos, Tavern, Bento, Chinese, Pizza, Butcher, Fuel station, plus more. Some images of ours are taken by Oscar Sloane Photography. 1. The entire house is available when booked for your stay
2. Pricing is based on two guests, with additional guest fee charge per person per night to keep things fair for smaller groups.
3. Depending on the number of guests staying, the price will change to reflect this, so when booking please make sure the guests numbers are accurate
4. Nightly price and the minimum night stay vary too, depending on the time of year.
5. Parties & events are not welcome - if failure to acknowledge our rules, guests will be evicted immediately
