It that busy time of year and our favourite time. We get to meet new people, enjoy hosting guests in our Farmstay B&B.
Thankyou to Jade & Lachlan for this wonderful review. I love airbnb reviews, but there's nothing like pen and paper and having a guest book for people to write in, we really love and appreciate that.
People slow down, reset, unwind and just relax when they come to stay and we are grateful to have such a space that allows guests to do just that.

We like to thank everyone for their support this year, it can be quite tricky juggling the family life, coffee van and the farm at times... but we've had some amazing events and we only try and do our best.

The Beggs Farmstay B&B is busy with bookings after Christmas which is great, but you'll see us down at Southend with the coffee van from the 2nd Jan to 13th Jan. Opened daily in the mornings.

☘️Our best pasture Hay will be baled in the coming weeks. I'll be taking Hay samples and sending off to labs for a full break down of the energy and nutrition. (Goes to Forage Labs each year).
It's been a fantastic Hay growing season, with the Clover and Rye grass more dense than the past few years, so hoping to crack out quite a few bales this year.
📍Located in the Limestone Coast, South East,SA.

📝Send a DM if you're interested in a truck load, can be picked up out of the paddock when it's all done and baled. They'll be approx 800 bales for sale this year.

🚜Happy National Ag Day!
November is a crazy busy month for us on the farm... weighing, weaning lambs.. lambs go on truck, shearing, attempting some hay... though it's been a bit wet this season.
It's all hands on deck this month, but it's also my favourite time of the year. Spring days, cool nights, the smell of fresh cut hay and the smell of the shearing shed in full swing, I love it!
Cheers 🍻 to all the other farmers out there today, those chasing parts for breakdowns, whining about the weather, waking up each day hoping for a smooth run, stressing about getting things done, late dinners, no smoko breaks and no sleep ins 😀 wouldn't swap it for the world though...
holidays are just around the corner! 🙏

Added two new additions to the orchard today. I finally got a Quince tree and a Pomegranate tree!
Will just have to wait a few years to mature and grow before we start reaping some fruit, but it will be well worth the wait!
I loved stewed quinces at my Nan and Pas growing up, served with icecream. I also love making Quince paste in the Thermomix, so easy and delish!
Pomegranates are delish in a salad adding a nice vibrant colour, yum!
Watch this space as they grow!

A day at home on the farm.... washing, made hommus, made bread, checked out garden, fed animals, crushed egg shells and fed worms, spot spraying and got sheep in yards ready for tomorrow!
Productive day at home and the weather was ☀️🙌

Loving these longer days and the weather changing.... it means people are on the move and guests are passing through the South East S.A more!
