28 gates is a little piece of luxury in Tasmania's beautiful Derwent Vallley, one hours drive West of Hobart. It is located on historic "Bloomfield", a 6th generation,5000 acre 150 year old property known for its weeping pastures, rolling hills and trout - rich lakes. ion. There are many activies to do at 28 gates - fishing in the lakes, walking on the well marked tracks, bird watching, photography tuition, farm tours or you can sit back and relax in the stunning surrounds and read a book or watch a movie.........

We are very excited to open the doors to Circus Key from 1st September. It’s been a big journey with this one and a story to it throughout. Bookings can be made through our new website and for the months of September and October we have a special deal of : stay 3 nights for the price of 2 including continental breakfast, bottle of still wine, cheese and biscuits and other treats on arrival. A fabulous experience only 2 hours from us. Stay here and then have a couple of nights and book one of these kayaking tours on Lake Peddar. It’s certainly worth it and your in the heart of the wilderness
