‘The Manager’s Cottage’ is a self catering 2 bedroom cottage
located in the Huon Valley at Grove, approximately 25 minutes south of Hobart. The iconic Sleeping Beauty and the Wellington range form the beautiful backdrop to the cottage which is just off the Huon highway and surrounded by working farms and orchards. Once the residence of the local orchard’s manager, the light and airy cottage is ta

stefully renovated with a fully fitted kitchen and bathroom. A heat pump keeps the whole cottage cosy in winter. There are two queen bedrooms, a comfy lounge with smart TV and a separate study with NBN and WiFi. The town of Huonville, with services such as banks, fuel, groceries, restaurants and cafes is only 5 minutes away. Scenic drives of less than 30 minutes take you the villages of Cygnet, Franklin and Geeveston. The Tahune Airwalk, Dover and Southport are less than an hour’s drive south. Willie Smiths Cider House is just across the paddock - a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive. The award winning Home Hill winery and restaurant is a 10 minute drive away. The Manager’s Cottage is a great place to stay while exploring the beautiful Huon Valley for just a couple of days, or longer if you like. We were delighted to have Matt and Margie from PandaraKelpies staying with us during the Huon Show. Their 4 gorgeous Kelpies used our little paddock to exercise after their sheep herding demonstrations at the show.
