UPGRADES! New outdoor setting for the back deck & curtains for the bunkbed room.

Whilst the front has those amazing views, I love sitting on the back deck in the morning sunshine and tend to save the front deck for later. And you can never have too many outdoor zones right?

The linen curtain sheers filter the light in the bunkbed room just right. I’m so pleased with them. Our outdoor shower recently installed is getting yet another facelift (hopefully) very soon too.

Girls’ weekends, weekday getaways for couples or senior groups, family holidays or even alone with your dog (we just had a guest who spent 3 nights on her own with her dog - just to unwind and get away from it all - bliss).

The house in the 1960’s, then in the 90,’s and now. Onwards and upwards. We’re now planning the next stage for sometime in 2026 - the front deck reno. Extend the roof out to the edge, a new support beam so we don’t have a pole in the middle of the space and new support columns that extend to the roof so we can put in blinds across the front. How fabulous will it be to be protected from the Guildy wind, while still enjoying the view? I’m already planning the outdoor furniture. Thinking L shaped lounge area and dining. There’ll be plenty of room. Outdoor heaters. Couldn’t come fast enough for me now the decision is made. I’m so impatient. All suggestions and ideas taken on board! I’ve stopped saying when it’s happening as the goal posts keep moving and we’re relying on a very busy builder. Watch this space!
