The cold nights have arrived and as per tradition, the wood-fired heaters are now on at The Nest.

Guests arrive to a firebox pre-set with kindling and just requiring a match. Locally sourced firewood from young-growth native forests is provided, along with written instructions for those not sure of how to manage them.

⭐CANBERRA REGION TOP TOURISM TOWN AWARDS⭐

Gundaroo takes out best Tiny Town in the Top Tourism Town Awards presented today at the Destination Canberra Conference in front of 300 industry colleagues.

Recognising our outstanding regional destinations, the Top Tourism Town Awards showcase the value of tourism to the towns and communities across Australia and celebrate the diversity and outstanding regional destinations of our country. There are three categories that are open to enter which include, Top Tourism Town (population over 5,000 people), Small Tourism Town (population below 5,000 people but above 1,500 people) and Tiny Tourism Town (population below 1,500 people).

Congratulations go to Gundaroo this year in the category of Top Tiny Town! 🎉

Gundaroo will now represent the Canberra Region at the Australian Top Tourism Town Awards to be held at Parliament House in September.
