Our Story
After a dusty drive from the Great Northern Highway (the 50kms can take three hours and is on a dirt track), or a scenic flight in a plane from Kununurra, it’s a welcome relief to arrive at a camp where luxury and the outback are combined.
This adventure comes with a hot shower, homestead style meals and a hotel quality bed at the end of the day. There’s a swimming pool, a generous supply of chef-prepared meals and a cold beer or glass of wine and stories around the campfire. Everything has been carefully designed to eliminate dependence on diesel generating systems while functioning in the remote conditions, causing little impact on the environment and blending in with the surroundings. Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge is certified ecotourism friendly for up to 60 people. Choose from standard or superior ensuite cabins.
If you are making your own way around the national park, you can still stay at the Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge, which means it’s not a rush to get in and out of the park in the one day.
Visitors tell us that staying at Bungle Bungle Savannah Lodge is a highlight in itself. One day in the Bungle Bungle is a great adventure, but extend it for the full effect. See more, do more, discover more.
