Rain, wonderful soaking rain at Sundial Holiday Apartments this morning!!! ☔️
A blessing for all of the fire, emergency services crews and background personnel who have worked so hard to keep so many safe from the fires. Hearts out to those so badly impacted by the fires too!❤️
Countdown on for Hall’s Gap reopening, must be close now, we may hear something at tomorrow’s Community meeting…

You would not know the “Fireys” are still strengthening fire containment lines close to Halls Gap at Sundial Holiday Apartments in the Grampians - beautiful evening!!! ❤️ Not all of the Grampians are “ablaze”. Once Halls Gap has re-opened to Visitors we will all need your support - come and visit!!! Count down to re-opening now on!!!

🌅 After an intense few days, this is the view we woke up to this morning.🌅

We’re so grateful for the stunning beauty that surrounds us here at Halls Gap Zoo, especially after the challenges of the past week. Our team has been working tirelessly, and we are happy to report that all animals are safe and being cared for daily by our dedicated keepers.

A huge thank you to the CFA (Country Fire Authority) and Forest Fire Management Victoria for their relentless efforts in keeping the zoo and surrounding areas safe during these challenging times.
We also want to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our supporters for your patience, understanding, and kindness as we navigate this difficult period.

It was certainly a relief to be allowed into Halls Gap this morning to do a little extra fire preparation before unfavourable weather conditions hit over the next couple of days!!! Gas bottles, lithium batteries, mower fuel and some significant artworks and other bits now removed. Another big “thank you” to all Fire and Police personnel for their hard work!!! I hope all the fire lines and breaks hold!!!🙏🤞🔥
