A picture often says a thousands words and this picture sums up how we feel as we count down the final hours of 2024.

It's been an incredibly challenging few weeks with bushfires in The Grampians National Park blazing more than 76,000 hectares and upending residents lives and livelihoods, not to mention the huge loss of flora and fauna from such a unique natural environment.

But the crews and fire fighting services as well as partner agencies swift action, bravery, dedication and mammoth effort has been nothing short of commendable. We know that many hundreds of you gave up your festive season commitments and treasured time with families to support the work.

For this we say - Thank you.🙏

And to our lovely community we would like to wish you all a safe and peaceful NY whereever you are. While the Grampians is still closed to visitors with limited access to residents as containment and firefighting efforts continue, we look forward to welcoming you again as soon as it is safe to do so.

In the meantime stay safe everyone and see you again in 2025.

This annual event in the majestic Grampians National Park is open to all ages with proceeds going to community projects to enhance the bike and walking paths.

In the meantime, in preparation we're just going to put another log on the fire and put our legs up before catching some zzz...😴

We all know the is teeming with wildlife and birdlife such as this beautiful Australian Raven caught posing near the Pinnacle today. It's one of the reasons we love this magical place. ❤

But this little birdy was quite...well, let's say persistent in his focus on our muesli bar which reminded us of the key rule for wildlife and birdlife - pls don't feed them. 🐦

It's not good for their digestion, it makes them dependent on humans and it can make them a bit of a nuisance.

So the next time you see wildlife and birdlife at the and at Grampians Blue pls smile, maybe take a pic or two and let them go about their day. They'll thank you for it!

For the lucky guests who stayed at and indeed this Easter weekend hope you got a chance to drive 20mins or so down the road to Stawell and catch the iconic Stawell Gift!

Congrats to Harrison Kerr and Carla Bull who claimed the crowns.
