A huge thank you to everyone who jumped in the ice baths, donated, bought raffle tickets, added extra ice 🧊😂, or came down to watch and support our Big Freeze for MND.

Thanks to this amazing community, Hampton Halfway raised $1,650, with 10 year old Jackson raising an incredible $3,000 for MND 💙

It was an awesome afternoon full of laughs, community spirit, and plenty of brave souls taking the plunge. We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who got behind such an important cause!

🥶❄️ HAMPTON HALFWAY BIG FREEZE – MONDAY 8TH JUNE! ❄️🥶

We’re getting cold for a good cause! Join us at Hampton Halfway on Monday 8th June from 2:30pm as we hold our Big Freeze Ice Bath Challenge to raise money for MND.

💙 $10 entry donation to jump in the ice bath — 100% goes directly to MND.

We’ll have 2 ice baths running, plus plenty of laughs, challenges, prizes and bragging rights up for grabs!

👉 Pre-booking is welcome! If you’re thinking of jumping in, please let us know beforehand so we can work out numbers — it would be greatly appreciated.

🧊 What’s happening?
• Head-to-head battles
• Longest freeze times (capped at 8 minutes!)
• Pay to Punish – spectators can throw in $2 for extra ice! 🥶
• Challenges while in the bath – get it wrong and cop a bucket of ice!

Rules:
❄️ You must dunk and wave your arms every minute to stay in the game.

🧺 What to bring:
• Spare clothes and a towel — we’ll have a place to warm up and dry off afterwards!

Challenge Questions May Include:
🍺 When was the pub founded?
🍺 Name 3 tap beers at Hampton Halfway!
❄️ Wrong answer = bucket of ice!

There will be a Dawn Service at 7am at the Lowther War Memorial as we come together to remember and pay our respects.

Following the service, everyone is warmly invited back to Hampton Halfway for a donation breakfast. All welcome – come share a meal and a moment with the community.
