Over the weekend, Tony and Nev took some time out to walk to the top of Rawnsley Bluff, rising 943 metres above the surrounding landscape.
At the summit sits the cairn, first erected by sappers in the late 1850s. It still stands today, added to over the years by those who’ve made the climb and stopped to take in the spectacular views.
For Tony and Nev, it was an opportunity to share the walk together - reflecting a shared love of the Flinders Ranges and Outback and a connection that spans generations, while creating new memories along the way.
A reminder that Rawnsley Park Station is as much about these moments as it is the place itself.
