The guesthouse is surrounded by a majestic beauty of the Yarra Valley, and is run by Toby and Deanne who have a passion for art, music, antiques, fine wine and wholesome food. hentic boutique retreat perfect for romantic getaways, group gatherings, conferences and wedding accommodation. Stylish and gracious from our modern rooms, with queen size beds and ensuite, to our heritage listed shared rooms, with log fires and wide shady views looking over our magnificent English garden. We offer seven ensuite bedrooms, available Thursday-Sunday. There are also three extra bedrooms available for group bookings Monday-Sunday. When you choose Strathvea as your B&B a complimentary two-course country breakfast will be provided, cooked and served by our lovely staff. We make our own homemade jams, preserve fruits and we use the freshest eggs from our own happy chooks.

It’s that time of year again. 🍄🍁

When nature is still, it reminds me of a time when I walked into a library, - there were hushed voices, careful movements, and the sounds of pages turning. We created a space to allow our imaginations to grow and journey.

As I walk around the garden I am always taken on an imaginative journey which allows me to indulge in the feeling of wonder, reverence and questioning. There are not many places left which allow our imagination to soar.
