☕️ Every bean in your cup was chosen for a reason.

Our arabica grows in the highlands of Chiang Mai province, northern Thailand 💯 on land transformed by the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who once trekked up Doi Inthanon mountain to hand a hill tribe farming family a coffee seedling and a different future. A king who believed the land could sustain his people, without harming it. That seedling became a generation's livelihood.

Our robusta comes from closer to home 💖Trang province, in Thailand's deep south, where the ancient Banthat mountain ranges’ rainforest meets the villages at its edge. This forest has been home to the Maniq, one of Thailand's last indigenous hunter😊gatherers, for thousands of years. People who have read this land long before anyone else thought to. The robusta trees that grow at the forest's edge carry that same quiet wisdom; propagated into surrounding villages, and built into something rare: a social enterprise that creates jobs, nurtures farmers, and passes its knowledge on through education.

We didn't just source coffee.
We looked for right people
And we found them.

More coming soon. 🌿

We booked this trip in November 2025. Seven weeks in Thailand, then five days in Brunei.
Everything looked fine on paper.
It wasn’t. 🫩

🎯 Brunei requires your passport to have at least six months’ validity remaining on the day you enter.

😮‍💨 When we actually ran the numbers properly ran them my husband’s passport would have 5 months and 45 days left by the time we’d land in Brunei. Fifteen days short of the threshold.

Fifteen days.Back to the travel agent. Change the flights. Drop the Brunei leg entirely.

Extend the Thailand stay instead but carefully, because the extension meant we’d be cutting it close on overstay 💢 if we didn’t time the immigration visit right.

So we drove to Kantang immigration to sort it out. They turned us away. Not because anything was wrong but because we were too early.

Thailand’s extension applications are generally processed within the last 45 days before your current permission expires. We hadn’t hit that window yet.

Two trips. Two waiting games. All from one line in a passport that we assumed was fine.

‼️ If you’re planning a long trip that crosses multiple countries check the entry requirements for every leg.

Not at the start of the trip. Before you book the flights.

Have you ever had a single document detail quietly blow up an itinerary you thought was locked in? ⁉️⁉️

💗 In Chiang Khan, a small 💦old riverside town in Loei Province on the banks of the Mekong, the slower pace feels less like doing less and more like living more.

🛶 Life here moves with the river, through morning markets, old wooden shopfronts, neighbours greeting one another, 🍳food prepared simply, and evenings spent walking by the water instead of rushing past it.

In a town like this, people seem to live closer to what truly matters: presence, community, rhythm, and gratitude for ordinary things.

🌺 Perhaps that is why Chiang Khan stays with you, not because it is loud, but because 🍃 it gently reminds you how life can feel when it is lived more slowly.
…Have you ever visited a place that made you rethink the pace of your life?

Some places don't just help you rest. They help you come back to yourself.

I'd driven for hours when I reached Wareerak Hot Spring, tucked deep in the forest of Khlong Thom, Krabi. No beach. No island. Just 5 natural mineral springs, temperatures ranging from 42 to 54°C, and the kind of silence that forces you to slow down.

Family-run since 1989, Wareerak is one of those rare places that hasn't been polished for tourists. You still feel the weight of the forest around you.

The salt pot therapy. Yoga under the trees. Water so hot it makes you breathe differently. When you're building something, you have to know when to go still.

This was that moment for me.I came back sharper for it and I'd go back without hesitation.

At 30, her husband left. She had 6 kids and no education, raised in a part of southern Thailand so remote, school was never an option.

🙏🏻Most people in that situation don’t survive. She built an empire. Today, at 75, she owns a restaurant, a resort, a tour company, and boats . All of it built with her own hands, in a coastal area that was still raw and undeveloped when she started.

📍I stayed at her place on Hat Yao during my road trip to Koh Mook several times. She didn’t tell me her story all at once. We grew closer each time.
🩷 I'm very thankful that she's generous enough to share her amazing life story with me.

✅️There are places that stay with you because of the view. And then there are places that stay with you because of the person behind them. This was one of those.
😊Have you ever met someone while travelling who made you see your own life differently?

Sometimes the places we stay become part of the story. In this case they become part of my family.

🩷 On our journey south, we stopped in Chumphon and stayed somewhere that felt less like accommodation and more like family in the past 3 years.

This is the kind of travel moment that stays with you. Not because it is flashy, but because it is real, warm, and deeply heart-felt.

📍Some of the most meaningful parts of the journey are the people and places we never expected to carry with us.
🥰 Have you ever stayed somewhere that felt more like home than a hotel?

💗 The dream never starts at the dream part.
It starts with long roads, changing plans, fuel worries, and simply deciding to keep moving.

We drove 🚘 from Bangkok to Trang during the fuel crisis, heading south with a bigger purpose in mind.⛽️

This journey is not just about reaching a destination. It is part of the real story behind what we are building,
one road, one decision, and one step at a time.

Sometimes the road itself becomes part of the vision.

⛱️ Have you ever taken a trip where the journey became just as meaningful as the destination?
