HEPBURN PALAIS TO REOPEN

With so much activity happening in Victoria over the past few months, we think now is a great time to add to all that goodwill by announcing that the people behind both Arcobar and Hotel Trentham have taken on the project of bringing the Palais Theatre in Hepburn Springs back to life, an icon which has been closed now for over 18 months.

Soon to be rebranded as Hepburn Palais, this historic venue celebrates its 100th birthday this year, and should be ready to reopen its doors to live music, dancing, comedy, theatre, and a plethora of special events just after Easter.

The revitalisation of Hepburn Palais is first and foremost about bringing great live music back to the Hepburn shire: Jazz. Rock. Blues. Classic. Country. Soul. Punk. Opera. Disco. Metal. Pop. Alternative. Folk. Original Artists. Tribute Shows. Solo. Big Band… As long as it's live we will bring it to Hepburn (and apologies to any genres we forgot to mention!).

Hepburn Palais will initially open for ticketed events only. No restaurant. No fuss or fanfare. Just a selection of great entertainment that will hopefully help bring a very diverse audience to the region, with a very diverse selection of artist announcements to be made in the coming months. We will have plenty of seating options in the bar areas, which will open a few hours before each event. Some shows will be fully seated, some will have limited seating only, and some shows will be standing (and dancing) only.

Importantly, we are ensuring that Hepburn Palais has a world class sound and lighting system, which will help us in securing the best artists from around the globe for many years to come. We want our locals to be proud once again of having a great live venue on their doorstep, and we want people to travel from far and wide, stay at the wonderful accommodation options in the area, eat at one of the many restaurants, bistros, pubs, and cafes in the region, and then enjoy a great show at Hepburn Palais.

We look forward to bringing some truly amazing events to Hepburn in 2026 and beyond.
