People sometimes ask why it is that we keep returning to Continental House Hepburn or โContiโ as it is affectionately known for our MeTreat Retreats.
Having visited many Victorian retreat venues over the years, we keep booking Conti for our retreats, because itโs quite simply the best venue for our needs.

๐1.๐๐โ๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐น - Conti is less than a 2 hour drive from Melbourne. Thereโs no need to book and pay extra for a flight if you are joining us from Melbourne or elsewhere in Victoria. That being said, we have happily welcomed guests from interstate including Queensland, New South Wales and even WA!
๐2.๐๐โ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐น๐ณ ๐๐ผ๐ป๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฑ - when we book Conti we get the whole house to ourselves. There are no other guests or staff there during our retreat weekend which means we can relax, spread out across all its beautiful spaces and gardens and feel like we are in a different world which exists purely for us. From the moment we enter via Contiโs famous green hedged archway, we experience few distractions from the โoutside worldโ which is perfect for retreat group cohesion and personal transformation.
๐3.๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ผ๐ผ๐บ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐๐ป๐๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ - all our guests sleep in their own room with their own ensuites. We think that women deserve to have their own space on retreat and not have to share bathrooms or bedrooms. This gives them the personal space that they need to rest and integrate all that is happening on the retreat. There are a few twin rooms that can be shared by friends who donโt mind sharing a room/bathroom. This can be a wonderful bonding experience!
๐4.๐ช๐ฒ ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ข๐๐ฟ ๐ข๐๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ๐ณ - Conti has a large well-equipped kitchen and allows us to bring our own personal chef, ๐
๐๐ข๐๐จ ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐ค who makes the most healthy, delicious, balanced and beautifully presented meals for our lucky retreat guests.
๐5.๐ข๐ป-๐ฆ๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐บ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ถ๐ป๐ด - there arenโt too many private retreat venues that have their own on-site Turkish Hammam and massage rooms! We are so lucky to be able to literally walk only a few steps to enjoy Contiโs famous โTurkish Hammam Group Bathing & Spa Experienceโ and enjoy the most blissful massages/facials.
๐6.๐๐ฎ๐ฏ๐๐น๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ผ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป - not only does Conti have its own beautiful gardens (there is often a kangaroo lazing around somewhere!) but it is a few minutes walk from the amazing Hepburn Springs Mineral Reserve and other stunning nature walks which our guests experience on retreat.
๐7.๐๐น๐ผ๐๐ฒ ๐๐ผ ๐๐ฎ๐๐น๐ฒ๐๐ณ๐ผ๐ฟ๐ฑ - Conti is only a short drive to the famous tourist town of Daylesford which has a wide array of art galleries and shops to explore. Our guests are welcome to pop into Daylesford and other local tourist attractions nearby before, after or even during our retreat weekend to enjoy a little bit of retail therapy!
