There’s something pretty special about seeing a little village like ours represented on a can. 🍺✨

Introducing Hill End Lager, brewed in partnership with our mates at and crafted to honour the stories, the people and the threads of history that tie us to this place.

If you take a moment to read the back of the can, you’ll find our story. A story that wouldn’t exist without two people we miss dearly.

If it weren’t for Albert, Casey’s dad, whose family ties to Hill End run generations deep…

And for Melissa, Cara’s sister, whose birthday getaway first brought the girls here to trace their Nan Olga’s gold-rush footsteps…

Well, there simply wouldn’t be a Casey and Cara, and there wouldn’t be a Micro Pub.

And in one of life’s full-circle moments, the Micro Pub opened on Albert’s birthday.

So this lager is for them.

For Albert and Melissa — two beautiful souls who would’ve pulled up a chair, ordered a cold one, and shared cheeky stories with anyone who walked through the door.

We miss them. We cheers them.

And we carry them with us, always part of our story 💛
