A Total Fire Ban (TOBAN) is in place from midnight tonight until midnight tomorrow night.
During a Total Fire Ban you cannot light, maintain or use a fire in the open, or to carry out any activity in the open that causes, or is likely to cause, a fire.
With lightning β‘οΈ across the district yesterday and more predicted for this afternoon, landowners need to check their properties.
A change this afternoon will thankfully bring a reprieve from the heat weβve been experiencing but higher winds and lower humidity will push the fire danger rating into Extreme π§.
