The Hillston BCAF. What a story from the Hillston team! They've knocked out some huge names in their maiden campaign on their way to the big dance! The support has continued to flow in for a beanie that has a great cause attached, and a great regional community behind it!
Last week was an amazing result with the BCAF knocking out the Tolland Wolves who had stormed into favourtism after knocking out Parkview PS, a team unbeaten for almost 2 years. Despite that, they come in ranked second, with plenty to do! They have an advantage over the Flamingos in Facebook votes and shares going in. Can they maintain this to push the Wollongong team the whole way?

Shot up the rankings from 4 to 1 last week with a HUGE 1778 votes to knock out the previous competition benchmark. If we gave the title to the team who had ran the best campaign; these Flamingos would have won in a canter. The list of vanquished is as impressive as you could see when you look at how the Flamingos got here.
We love how the Flamingos just keep willing themselves through. After an impressive 3rd place last year, they've backed up and make the Grand Final. That's impressive when you consider how many rounds you have to get through to get here!
This beanie has it's own great story. A small club formed in the midst of lockdowns that gets members up and in the icy cold ocean baths throughout Winter. Great health benefits for the body and mind with a fantastic community! A great group of people who have worked so hard to make the big one, and are now 1 win away from luxurious warm coffees to raise the body temperature after an icy swim! All whilst potentially wearing AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND'S BEST BEANIE!!
