Looking forward to the first few prefabricated accommodation units for Hydro Tasmania arriving at Strathgordon next week.

We've enjoyed working with Francis Burne on the designs, with Batchelor Construction Group Pty Ltd fabricating the units in their yard in Kingston.

Building costs over the last couple of years have been steadily rising... It's hard to be sure if the current costs are just the "new normal" or how much the market might equalise as the post-COVID boom settles and rising interest rates start to impact project viability.
