We popped into on a cool and drizzly afternoon last week and sat near one of the fireplaces. The atmosphere was cosy and warm, the cocktails and service 👌🏻👌🏻. Could this be our new favourite? 🤎

There’s a definite chill in the air now, which makes it an ideal time
to visit Tassie for pubs with open fires, outstanding Pinot and whiskey to taste, snow capped mountains, boots, coats and beanies.
At The Loft we have all the teas, coffee, hot chocolate, heating and electric blankets to keep you warm and snuggly when you get home to your private oasis 🧡

One of the comments our guests always make is how they loved seeing the changing views of Kunanyi/Mt Wellington from our window, whilst in the kitchen or on the sofa. Spectacular when snow capped, interesting when amongst moving clouds but always majestic. Book in May for a 20% discount 🍂

Such a beautiful time to visit Hobart. Autumn is in full show everywhere, and the days are not too hot and not too cold. We’re off to see the “turning of the fagus” this weekend at Mt Field, through the Derwent Valley, visiting old pubs and wineries. We love Tasmania in Autumn 🍁 🍂 🧡

Popped into .laundry while out at on the weekend . We’ve been meaning to try it since it opened last March and we’ll be back!!Kind of like a retro NY deli. Yummy food and great atmosphere and service.
They’re also open at night Thursday to Sunday with a different menu. We shared a Monty and some coffees but keen to try just about everything else! Love this place 😍

Date night last night was dinner at and then to see live. I haven’t laughed so much in a long time and at one point was crying 😂 (with laughter of course). They’ve just announced an encore performance in October but last night’s performance was booked out so I’d be quick.
We hadn’t eaten at The Hope & Anchor before and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of our meals - both absolutely delicious! Such a great Hobart institution with its quirky themed decorating, fires and cosy atmosphere. Best to book a table but we got lucky with a walk in and sat in front of the fire. Love Hobart pubs ❤️🔥
