David and Penelope have now sold their beautiful Cleburne Homestead property. We loved sharing the place with wonderful guests from all around the world. I booked to stay in your gorgeous B&B for Thursday, but hadn't realised until the email reservation came through you are near Lindersfarne in AUSTRALIA 🇦🇺!!!
We live in the UK and I was booking a surprise night away for my
husband, to Lindersfarne in Northumberland, UK. That's what I started searching for on Booking. com and somehow I ended up booking the other
side of the world 🙈
I wholly appreciate this was my fault, I should have looked more
closely, but the map showed a road going out to the island, and having never been to the UK before either, it all seemed fine. I booked, paid and when the email reservation came through with the full address, I realised where it actually was 😢
If you are able to refund I would be most appreciative as our one night away suddenly becomes rather unaffordable. I contacted customer service straight away and hope it can be resolved. Sorry for the mix up and inconvenience.

Port Arthur historic site, Richmond Town, New Norfolk’s Agrarian Eatery and the Coal River wineries are each a comfortable day trip from Cleburne. Cleburne Homestead is a place for comfort and relaxation. You can choose from our five delightful suites: The Cottage, The Bakehouse, The Homestead, The Barn and The Stables. The free-standing Cottage is two-story. It has a queen-size bedroom and bathroom upstairs, downstairs is a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and living room with two day beds and a trundle. The Bakehouse has a queen bedroom, a separate dining area and a bathroom with a free-standing bath. A day bed and a trundle provide for extra guests. Our Homestead Suite is perfect for an extended family with a queen bedroom, and a fold down(double bed) sofa in the private library. You can enjoy the rustic atmosphere of The Barn (king bed) or The Stables (queen bed) Suites with their sandstone walls and leather furniture.
