Due to a devastating fire in the early hours of the 12th of July 2021, the Bruns is temporarily closed while we work to rebuild. We are greatful that all guests and staff onsite evacuated safely and are uninjured. Originally built by convicts over 185 years ago, we’re Australia’s 2nd Oldest Pub – Est.1826

The Brunswick Hotel is also known for its seasonal Menu cooked to perfection from some of Tasmania and Australia’s freshest local produce. With great indoor and outdoor spaces throughout including our laneway beer garden ‘Brunswick Lane’, street side seating, or in the cooler months, our original sandstone open fire to lounge by, The Brunswick is perfect regardless of season!
