bed, and my treasured 70's solid comfortable sofa bed ( modern ones are so nasty,and uncomfortable!) to sleep two extra guests in the lounge room
Brand new and funkily furnished to the highest standard and comfort, with some of my quirky collectibles/retro pieces ( love that FAB sofa bed!!) that I have amassed over 30 years. SLEEP: a luxurious timber queen bed with a Sealy posturepedic, hotel standard, firm mattress with quality bedlinen and an electric blanket for those chilly nights. Natural duck down doona (duvet) and 100% cotton quality bedlinen used with only natural soap- not nasty itchy synthetic detergent- but please note life is too short to iron sheets, they are line dried in the sunshine ( weather permitting) and supplied crisp and fresh au naturelle from the washing line. Goosedown,synthetic or orthopaedic memory foam pillow available to suit your preference, and additional pure wool blankets. RELAX :Flatscreen TV with DVD player. COOK: Fully fitted kitchen with cooktop, oven, microwave, coffee percolator and teapot, fully equipped to cook for yourself if you wish. CLEANSE : equipped with a fabulous 30 cm rainfall shower head in a walk in shower, premium eco friendly handmade soaps from Tasmania's iconic honey skincare brand Beauty and the Bees for a luxurious shower and of course a hairdryer. Plush towels, naturally. WASH: washing machine and dryer, iron. WHAT DO OUR CLIENTS SAY?:
Very groovy,cosy, brand new self contained apartment. Great base from which to explore Hobart and surrounds. Amazing views from the apartment over the Derwent River to the city and Mt Wellington. Easy, quick trip to the city by car or taxi (less than 10 mins). Well equipped kitchen with everything you need if you feel like cooking for yourself. Great rainshower ! The place just had a really nice feel to it. Lindisfarne is a charming riverside suburb,well equipped with supermarket, bakery, gourmet food store and a great bottle shop with an owner passionate about his wine. Jill was a fantastic hostess with a wicked sense of humour, very friendly and relaxed. She was more than helpful with info about Hobart while we were there and indeed with any questions we had via email prior to booking. She has done a gorgeous job decorating this very stylish apartment. I would highly recommend Queen’s View Domain. I don’t think you could do better and at the price it is a steal. Hi peeps as you can see I have not posted for a while as the apartment- indeed the island borders- are closed due to covid 19.
Apartment bookings available from 1st of December when Tasmania’s borders open.Stay safe and well!

The quaint 19th century town of Richmond is just a 30-minute drive from Hobart. There are around 50 Georgian buildings in Richmond Village, and many have been beautifully restored and revamped into galleries, eateries, and accommodation. 🏠

Enjoy a picnic by the convict-built Richmond Bridge (don't mind the old rumour about it being haunted). The bridge was completed in 1825 and is today the oldest stone span bridge in Australia. 🦆
