Job description:
Do you enjoy helping people feel welcome and creating great guest experiences? We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic team member to join our motel team as a Casual Guest Services Receptionist & All-Rounder.

About the Role
As one of the first faces our guests see, you will play an important role in ensuring every guest has a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Key Responsibilities:
Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
Handle phone, email, and online reservations
Process payments, check-ins, and check-outs
Provide local information and recommendations about Horsham and the surrounding region
Maintain a neat, professional, and guest-ready reception area

Additional Duties (during quieter periods at reception):
Strip beds and assist housekeeping staff as required
Wash, dry, and replenish dishes in guest rooms
Count and organise linen deliveries
Prepare breakfast order trays and deliver breakfast to guest rooms
Assist with general motel operations as needed

About You:
Customer-focused with a positive and professional attitude
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Enjoy working as part of a team
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems
Experience with RMS or other hotel reservation systems is preferred
Flexible and available to work weekends when required
Previous hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential—we are happy to train the right person

We are seeking Motel Housekeepers/Cleaners to join our award-winning motel team in Horsham, Victoria.

Our motel proudly received Gold Awards in 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 and is known for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Position Details:

- Up to 6 days per week, with the 7th day varying depending on occupancy
- Approximately 4 to 4.5 hours per day
- Hours generally between 9:30am and 1:30pm
- Award wages paid
- Minimum 3-month commitment required
- Subsidised shared accommodation available for backpackers
- Additional independent daily work opportunities may also be available in Horsham

About Us:
We are a busy 26-room, gold award-winning motel located in regional Victoria. Horsham has a population of approximately 22,000 people and services a wider regional community of around 45,000 people. With an average occupancy rate of 91%, we are looking for reliable and hardworking team members who can commit to working up to 7 days per week depending on occupancy levels.

Please Note:
Horsham is not an eligible location for the 88-day Working Holiday Visa extension. Applicants must already be based in Australia to apply for this position.
