Our 50 powered sites including our magnificent deck sites, have power & water supplied. Rates for 2 people staying per night. Powered sites are about $33, and include water and firewood. Please refer to the website and booking form for accurate rates. Minimum stays may apply in peak periods. Bookings are required just so that we know you are arriving. The days where there are no scheduled arrivals will probably be our shopping days, so please don't show up unannounced. Dogs are very welcome.

If you've visited anytime over the last 5 months you would have met our caretakers Kylie and Roy. They moved on yesterday 😭 to continue their travels and we miss them already!

We are so blessed to have had some amazing caretakers over the last 5 years. Their efforts make our lives so much easier and we're very grateful. We'll introduce our new caretakers very soon.

Our guest suite visitors have always loved our pillow top King size mattress so this weekend when our guest expressed disappointment, we knew it was time to replace the mattress.

Jason from Fraser Coast Furniture answered our call and delivered a new mattress the same afternoon. His customer service is amazing, he's super professional, very efficient and just a really nice bloke.

If you're in the Wide Bay area and looking for a new mattress, give him a call.

We're looking for a single person or a couple who:
✅ Has a self-contained caravan or motorhome
✅ Has a laptop or tablet
✅ Is comfortable using a phone, text messages and email
✅ Has a friendly personality and takes pride in their presentation
✅ Loves a chat around the campfire 🔥 and meeting new people

🌟 About the Role
This position is perfect for retirees looking to stay active, meet wonderful people and keep their minds engaged.

The role involves:
📞 Answering phone enquiries
🗓️ Making bookings
🚐 Escorting guests to their sites

The role is approximately 3 days per week in exchange for your site fees. The best part? Most of the work can be done from the comfort of your own van, leaving you plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and continue with your day between guest arrivals. 🌿☕

How good is it to get home! We got back to some warm weather, a beautiful camp fire last night, lots of people and delicious loaded spuds by our caretakers .

Some of the roads were atrocious and we're glad we didn't take our vintage van. We discovered the magnificent town of Leeton in NSW, experienced some winter weather ( no wonder the southerners come north for winter ) met some great people, had fun with our friends, ate way too much ( the RSL at Narrabri was a standout) stayed in showgrounds and caravan parks ( averaged $35pn ) blew 4 tyres between 3 vehicles, came home with one dog who said never again Dad 🤣.

A huge thanks to our caretakers Kylie and Roy who have been beyond magnificent, and Tony and Julie who so kindly agreed to come to help out again for a few weeks while we were away. Sadly they all leave us very soon 😭😭 and we will be looking for new caretakers.

For us, it's back to work, looking after guests with a renewed enthusiasm for customer service which was the big thing we missed while away ( and some good roads ).

We look forward to chatting around the camp fire soon 🥰
