After a lot of consideration and several fights with our accountants, it is with great sadness we have to make this announcement........

EFFECTIVE 1st October 2026 - Our T-Bone Tuesdays & Parmi Thursdays will be increasing from $18 to $20 each (Gravy Extra)

This is the first price increase on these 2 specials in over 10 years, Unfortunately our accountant fights dirty so we have had to admit defeat and increase the price by $2 per meal.

Please be advised due to a telstra outtage our phone, internet and website services are currently down.

We are currently working on fixing this issue and hope to be back up and running soon.

We are still open as well as the kitchen, unfortunately due to the tesltra issue our phones are non operational.

While we're talking a walk down memory lane, here's a bit of a cheeky blast from the past........

Recently one of our locals discovered this newspaper clipping from 1988 advertising something which today would be unheard of for the Grand.

While it is something that is regarded today as controversial, it also gives people an idea just how popular our little corner of paradise was back then.

Here is something many of you have probably never seen before - the original key hanger from 1937!

Originally mounted in the original pay office (the window most people see near the baby change station) after some upgrades being conducted in that section of the room the contractor decided to hold onto it and install it into our current office upstairs.

To think this has been around for nearly 90 years, and is getting a new lease of life!

A few of our staff members have jumped on onboard this year for the lifeline's Out of the shadows walk.

Last year they raised closed to $2500 helping provide assistance to those at risk of su***de.

This year they're hoping to smash that figure.

Max from MRK Media Group who is also a team member, has decided to put this beautiful framed print up for sale on his shop for a limited time only.

All proceeds from every sale will be donated via their team's page, with buyers having the option to leave a message which will be posted to their wall on the buyer's behalf.

If you're in our dining room at any time you can see a copy of this framed print hanging on our wall with a QR code for you to scan and purchase your very own print, also knowing you have helped those in need.

This is a cause we here at The Grand hold dear to our hearts, having lost friends & loved ones over the years to su***de.

We will also be placing a cash donation tin again on our bar for those who would like to contribute in any way they're able to.
