Our Story

Description We are a fantastic Field Environmental Education centre with on site accommodation, full catering at the delicious Ripples cafe at the highly regarded North Star Holiday Resort Hastings Point combined with first class education facilities for environmental education in the Ted Brambleby Marine Environments Museum. Very cool hands on experiences in the environment for students of Biology,Geography,Earth and Environmental Science,Marine Studies or Art students for both Primary and Secondary Schools to be fully immersed into field investigations.

The Marine Museum is a highly insightful education centre with the biggest collection of preserved marine and coastal specmens , live microscope projections of marine organisms, visual aid, books and resources collected over 50 years. The biggest private collection on the Eastern Seaboard. A wonderful resource for teachers who love the environment for you to bring and add to the unit outcomes you are studying with your students. Many schools use our faciltiy each year and thousands of students stay with us or visit for the day. Learning through experience about this planet we call home and how it supports us in keeping us all alive and healthy. Students also learn just how much we are effecting and impacting our planet and as custodians of planet ocean how important it is to understand how it all fits together.

If you are a social group of any type join us for some for Morning or Afternoon tea or combine with lunch at the onsite Ripples cafe at Northstar and an education session at the museum .A great value activity for all. Call Kerrie 0402549655
