Today’s the day!
Hip hip hooray 🥳 Happy birthday to us 🎂
Twenty years ago today we threw open our doors and started our business in Inglewood! In these 20 years we’ve seen it all. Drought, floods, a locust plague, catastrophic weather conditions, the Global Financial Crisis, the rise of online retail, COVID, the cost of living crisis, the war in Ukraine and the Middle East and the shockwaves from that. Not to mention the despair in watching the lunatics running the asylum. Have I missed anything? So many challenges that have kept us ducking and weaving! Small business and self-employment has many ups and downs (and that’s not a camel joke by the way 🤣)
So that’s the good news - we’ve notched up twenty years!
The bad news? The budget doesn’t stretch far enough for a cupcake for all of you. Sorry 😣
One thing I can say for sure is that we won’t be celebrating another twenty year milestone. The clock is ticking! As Mr. F sometimes says in jest, he’s the only genuine antique in the store 🤣
Thanks for sticking with us. We’ve watched your children grow up and delighted in the adults they’ve become. We’ve mourned and missed many of those who have passed on. We’ve made new friends and grown a tribe. And we couldn’t have done it without you ❤️
