Today was our last day at August Moon Caravan Park. We have met so many lovely people in our 10 1/2 years at the park and made many new friends. A huge thank you to everyone that has stayed with us. Its now time for us to get out and enjoy the beautiful place we live, just maybe we will see you on the road one day. Best wishes to the new owner Om and manager Sai.

Many people have been asking how we got on with Cyclone Jasper and the flooding over the last week. We were extremely lucky, no damage and no flooding.
Whilst roads were cut North, South and West of us, we never lost power or access to town. We were able to accommodate many people that had to be evacuated from their homes or were stranded because of the road closures.
After this post I will share another post showing just how big of a rain event our area received.
The photo of Cameron on the mower was taken yesterday (Monday - yes we had dried out enough to mow) and the other photos were taken the day before (Sunday) - the day so many places around our area flooded.

School Holiday Fun - Tilapia Tournament 🎣

Reel in on all the fishing action at the 2023 Tilapia Tournament!

Rods will be casting from Wednesday 20 September to Saturday 23 September. The Saturday event will feature a new family competition and is packed with prizes from the week and a sausage sizzle by the mini rail.

The family fun Tilapia Tournament is a great way to spend the school holidays Warrina Lakes!

Entry is free, and fishing must take place on the assigned days. Wednesday to Friday fishing is permitted between 8 am to 3 pm. The Last Chance Fish on Saturday runs from 8 am to 10am. Winners will be presented at 11 am along with the announcement of the new Family Category winner.

We are excited to say that we were one of the 111 caravan parks around Australia that were successful in applying to the Federal Government's Caravan Park Infrastructure Grant - to enable us to deliver new & improved accommodation, facilities and amenities with this funding. We are matching the Government dollar for dollar (and more in our case).
We have just recently completed our upgrade and enlargement to our Septic System.
