Located on the east coast of Cape York, 800km north of Cairns, Greenhoose offers unparalleled access to

unique wildlife and remote sites. Experience the best of Cape York with bush walking, bird watching, fishing, WW2 sites and the Great Barrier Reef all nearby and Lockhart River only 8km away to replenish fuel and supplies. Our rooms are self-contained spaces with air-conditioning, free Wi-Fi, verandas, and rainforest views. Choose between single en-suite and double en-suite rooms or single basic and family basic rooms with shared amenities. We also offer home-style cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and being located outside of the dry zone means our guests can enjoy any alcoholic beverages brought in their own vehicles. Additional facilities include an alfresco dining area, communal kitchen, BBQ, laundry, airport shuttle and courtesy vehicle (book in advance).
